generating tableofcontents with texmacs

To generate table of contents inside TeXmacs

• Text -> Automatic -> Table of contents
• Document -> Page -> Type -> Paper
  
• Document -> Update -> Table of contents or Document -> Update -> All
  

repeat the last operation until there is no change in the document.
